Roatan is world renowned for its barrier reef (the second largest in the world) and spectacular diving. Whether you are a beginner or experienced diver, we can arrange the perfect package for your dive vacation. If you are looking forward to meeting and diving with people from around the globe there are packages available through several top dive resorts. If you are looking for a more exclusive, personal experience, a private dive instructor and boat can be arranged for you or your group. For non-divers, some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean is only a short swim from Villa Royale.
There are many exciting island tours to choose from. Boat tours around the island of Roatan and the other Bay islands including, Cayos Cochinos, Barbaretta, Guanaja and St. Helena are a great way to spend a day. Whether you take a trip to Utila to spot the famous whale sharks or tour the mangroves in a traditional style island dory, there are a wide range of options available and experiences you will never forget.
Fishing
Various fishing charters are available (for tuna, snapper, grouper, bonefish, barracuda, wahoo, and marlin in season). Different types of fishing can be combined in a day trip. Fly-fishing is a favorite in Port Royal and some of the best spots are minutes away from Villa Royale.
Kayaking
Kayaks are available for your use at Villa Royale and on a calm day a paddle out to Lime Key is a great way to spend the afternoon.
